Our real-time satellite tracking monitors temperature fluctuations along with speed, harsh braking, door openings and trailer unlocking. Any violation is reported immediately and acted on by our 24-hour control room.

Refrigerated vehicles form part of the Vital Fleet range, and we build small refrigerated vehicles for dedicated contracts where a full-size reefer would be too much.

Food safety credentials

Our transhipment centre at White River achieved BRCGS Storage and Distribution certification with an AA grade in 2024. The product categories covered chilled and frozen food, ambient food and consumer products, including storage of chocolate at ambient temperature and its distribution at chilled temperature.

Yes. Refrigerated vehicles are part of our fleet, and temperature fluctuations are monitored in real time by our 24-hour control room. We also build small refrigerated vehicles for dedicated contracts.

Where in South Africa does Vital deliver?

Nationwide. Our primary sites are in Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal, we have transhipment centres in Limpopo and Mpumalanga, and delivery points in the Western Cape, Eastern Cape and Northern Cape.

Yes. Our real-time, web-based satellite tracking monitors speed, harsh braking, door openings, temperature fluctuations and trailer unlocking. Violations are reported in real time and acted on by our 24-hour control room, and onboard cameras are monitored 24/7.
