One load, one truck, the long way

We provide full truck load (FTL) road freight services across South Africa and cross-border into Namibia, Botswana, Mozambique and Zambia. Our long-haul fleet includes tautliners and superlinks of up to 34 tons.

The safety and security of our drivers, vehicles and our customers' cargo is of vital importance to us. Our vehicles are fitted with onboard cameras, monitored by our national control room 24/7, as well as live tracking devices. We can react to any potential security issue remotely and in real time.

Extra capacity when you need it

Our brokerage division adds capacity when our own vehicles aren't available, so your requirements are met at all times. Transporters are vetted at the highest level for quality vehicles, expert drivers, live vehicle tracking and adequate goods-in-transit (GIT) cover.

What is the difference between FTL and LTL?

A full truck load (FTL) fills one vehicle that goes directly from collection to delivery. A less than truck load (LTL) shares space with other consignments on a consolidated shipment, so you pay bulk rates for a smaller load.

What happens if your own trucks are fully booked?

Our brokerage division adds capacity from transporters vetted for quality vehicles, expert drivers, live vehicle tracking and adequate goods-in-transit cover, so your requirements are met at all times.

Where in South Africa does Vital deliver?

Nationwide. Our primary sites are in Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal, we have transhipment centres in Limpopo and Mpumalanga, and delivery points in the Western Cape, Eastern Cape and Northern Cape.
