How consolidation works
Freight consolidation, or transhipment, combines multiple orders into single consigned shipments. Smaller consignments share space on one vehicle, so you can take advantage of bulk transportation rates, save time and conserve resources.
Nominated Delivery Days
Deliveries are made according to the Nominated Delivery Days (NDDs) set for each depot, and the lead times for each area are detailed in our NDD schedules. Together with you, we make sure your delivery points are aligned to our NDDs, so everyone knows when to expect stock.
Transhipment centres in Limpopo and Mpumalanga
Our transhipment centres in Limpopo and Mpumalanga extend the network into the north and east of the country. Our Mpumalanga centre at Rocky's Drift, White River, near Mbombela, achieved BRCGS Storage and Distribution certification with an AA grade in 2024.
A highly skilled team runs the service, with the same live tracking and Control Tower oversight as the rest of our fleet.
